An Apple a Day...

When I saw these apples this morning I knew I needed to use them up before they spoiled...
So...how about some apple cake? Yummm
When my cake was ready to go in the oven...I started to think about how I like apples and use them to decorate my house. Come take a look...
They are scattered around...here and there...

Maybe you can find a recipe to use some apples in today too!
Here is my finished cake...It looked & smelled so good I had to have a piece before I even took the picture...Wish I could share it with you...

  4. Ooh, the cake looks yummy! My favorite thing to make with apples is a Tarte Tatin. With some vanilla ice cream. I could probably eat half of it in one sitting. I LOVE all the apple-related items you have throughout your home!

  6. I too very much like the apple theme in your decor - apples seem a very reassuring and comforting thing really. I've been making this French apple cake recipe lately. It include almond powder for extra moistness and taste. And I have to agree with Mariana, Tarte Tatin is fabulous.

  20. Hello doll, I wish you could share the cake with us too.

How about coughing up the recipe.

My big question is how the heck is your house so spotless with five children.

I have only my son and husband at home now and the house is a pigsty.

    Love Renee xoxo
