From Messy to Marvelous!

When we downsized to our townhouse I wasn't sure what to do
with my collection of scarves.
I love to wear scarves...to me they are like wearing a necklace!
I had been keeping them in this black trunk....
which was fine until I needed to actually wear them!

It is getting cold here...and looking through the endless pile of tangled mufflers
was getting old...fast.   Hmmm...what to do?
A simple curtain rod and a couple of tools....and...it's an "ah-ha" moment!

And now there is plenty of room in the trunk for my shawls!
YES ~ it feels good to be organized!
Bring on the snow!

What a great idea Carrie! I only have a few scarves, but I love to wear them when it gets cold.
Those pumpkin cream cheese muffins from the last post sound delicious!

This is such a great idea. My curtain rod would definitely be a little smaller; you have quite a collection. TFS

I love scarfs and shawls too! They are all over the place in different corners and places around the house... no place for a curtain rod like you have there though... great idea nevertheless!!!

Fantastic way to organize your scarves.

Can you help me figure out a way to organize my pillows (i have a small problem with collecting them)

Carrie, This post has me giggling because my daughter is a scarf fiend as well only she uses the curtain rod on her bedroom window to hang them! When it starts getting a little thin because she has not put any back, I complain that the neighbors will be able to see in. I wish you and your family the best Thanksgiving holidays! Elizabeth

Whoa that is a lot of scarves!! I only have one scarf, a white one. I am thinking of getting a yellow one, then I will have two, not quite needing the curtain rod scarf storage department yet!!
