A Heartfelt Surprise...

Courtesy of Sesame Donuts here in town....this sweet gem was hidden amongst the box of the usual glazed and cake...

I took it over to my mom's house for her to enjoy!

Some "puzzling" nostaglia...

Sock Hops and Soda Counters were a little before my time...

But I can certainly appreciate the beauty of simpler days!

 This original Whitman Puzzle cries out  for days gone by...

when girls were modest and boys asked "them" out for a coke!

Days when a shared banana split meant he really liked you...

 Oh I know it wasn't all "perfect" then either...

but something inside of me wishes we could have a little bit

of the naivety of the "40's and '50's!

A little more "June Cleaver" and a lot less "Kardashian Family"!

And come to think of it the price of things wasn't bad either!

I believe this puzzle cost more than a gallon of gas!

....ahhh the memories!
