The rule of three...

The Rule of Three is a principle that suggests that things that come in threes are inherently
funnier, more satisfying, or more effective than other numbers of things.

like three vintage canisters....

3 old suitcases with lots of history....

three colorful fiestaware plates...

and three cool candles...

But how about 3 generations?

... three sisters...

and 3 young friends!!!

Stay Cozy,
Carrie

Carrie, I love your post!I use the rule of 3 for cleaning rooms in my house.... I walk into the lounge room and pick up/tidy three things, then through to the dining room and pick up/tidy three things, etc, etc. This way, it is not too over-whelming when the house is a bomb!!

I agree, uneven numbers work best in decorating. Enjoyed all the pictures. Have a nice Saturday!

I love the rule of three. I also think a collection needs to have at least three things. Pretty ladies.
