Take a moment and...

“Stop and smell the flowers”.... most of us know what it means...
but how often do we actually stop and smell the flowers?

This expression was intended to help us realize the importance of enjoying the
simple pleasures of life.
But many of us forget to take time to do this nearly as much
as we should or as much as we think we do.

Take a moment from your usual routine today to notice the little things around you...

And you might just pick a flower along the way...

Stay Cozy,
Carrie

This is true....stop and smell the roses, a lot of times we don't take the time to slow down and realize how much we are blessed.....

By reading your blog today, it really made my day!

Thanks for sharing!

I say this all the time. I remember telling my cousin this. She never had time to plan a get together. When I told her this she suddenly changed. You never know how much time you have left so you need to make the best of it. She was the cousin I lost last year to H1N1

I try to remember to count my blessings every day. There are so so many of them. The problem I have is with the "stopping" part!
thanks for the important reminder!

What a cute photo. The deer even noticed the flowers, only they were inside the house.

Love that picture! Thank you for the reminder, life is definitely too short not to take time to smell them. Especially Freesias!

I am signing on to follow you as well!... that photo of the deer is so precious, and yes, we all need to take time to smell the roses... or hyacinths or daffodils or whatever flower makes one happy... I believe you and I have alot in common, and I adore your little Sweet Pearl!... will be back in just a bit with my coffee and browse through your older posts, xoxo Julie Marie
