Hey...it's me...I'm back!

We are having a major "snow + ice storm" here in Portland.
We are essentially "snow-bound" ...so I decided to do a little "browsing".
When I went to visit my blog I realized my last post was a year ago TODAY exactly!!!
Wow A YEAR AGO!  My how time flies....

A lot has happened in a year...and where have I been?  Well two years ago I went back to work "outside the home - part-time"...and before I knew it - part-time turned into 40+ hours a week...and blogging and Etsy and Ebay just seemed impossible.

I have really missed my blogging friends and I have so much to get ya'all caught up on
if you are still interested?

In fact just over the Christmas holiday we moved...again...to a new "cozy cottage"
 - so much to show you...so much to talk about -
But I can't forget it's almost Valentine's Day, it's just around the corner ♥

The Love Day....
so here's a fun + easy idea I found to help celebrate...
It's a paper basket...and we all have some awesome craft paper at hand...

A quick paper container to fill with some Valentine "sweets"...
from Chic 'n Scratch.
♥You can give them to your co-workers, kids or honey ♥
Use your imagination for the "fillings".

It only takes minutes to make...and here is  the tutorial.
Have fun...
And please stay tuned...I can't wait to share with you what has happened
in my life while I was away!

I have been following you all - but from a quiet distance!
I am excited to return - and I hope you'll come on board!

Stay Cozy,
Carrie

Welcome back! Lovely to hear from you. I know it can be so hard to manage work, home and fit in blogging chat too.

Hi Carrie! Glad to see that you're blogging again. It's a challenge to squeeze everything we have/want to do into a 24 hour day. What I love about blogging is that you can fade in and out at any time and friends are still there, waiting to greet you.
Can't wait to see photos of your new home!
This Valentine project is clever...I will check out the tutorial.

Life happens...sometimes you just need that break! The snow looks pretty there, those kinds of days make you want to create indoors! Thanks so much for stopping by, Carrie!

Carrie - I was forced to take a break as well. This last year was a year of big changes on the tail end of some very difficult times for my family. I didn't post much about it, working three jobs, illness, stress....life. Right? I am glad you are back no matter how often or not. We are still here. ~Kelly

Well, so nice to meet you as I do not think we've met but I do hope you can find the time to blog once in a while and visit around. Sounds as if you have been one very busy lady this past year. Blessings to you!

I wondered where you went. YES we are snowed in and it is beautiful but also a nuisance. Rex hill going into Newberg was closed for awhile. We have about 8 inches at our house.
COLD.
Can't wait to see where you moved.

Dear Carrie,

Welcome!
It is cold, icy and more snow on the way tonight here too.
This will soon pass, I know. It is a time to keep cozy and dream.
You sound very happy and excited and I will look forward to your future posts.
The basket is a great idea for any occasion.
Blessings dear. Catherine xo

Hey Carrie! Do you remember me from Cottage on the Curve. I've been gone for probably 3 years. I'm back and have a new blog ~ A Wandering Mountainista. It's good to be back blogging. Love, Pat

I have missed you so often, but be assured, with every brown bag of popcorn that my husband and I consumed this snowy, winter, I thought of you. Thanks so much for sharing that popular idea with us. We love it!

Welcome back!
