Sorry...but I couldn't resist passing on another "Yummy" Post!
Not sure if you have found these yet, but Trader Joe's carries these wonderful pizza doughs.
I like the whole wheat ones.
Just check out the ingredients...all real and natural.
You just take the dough out of the bag, toss some flour on your work surface and let the dough rest for 20 mins.
Then roll it out and add your favorite ingredients...you could use up those veggies from yesterday's post...but of course my daughter and her girldfriend wanted plain cheese!
They bake for only 8-10 mins and a "healthy" pizza dinner is on the table.
At $1.29 per bag of dough it is a very economical meal!
Visit Trader Joe's and have fun!
...and as Rachel Ray would say..."YUMMO!"

ReplyDeleteCarrie--
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delish! We don't have
a Trader Joe's here yet.
I'll have to see what we have here
that is comparable.

Yum Wish we had a Trader Joe's in our city!!
ReplyDeleteWell that looks like fun! I would have piled it with a lot of goodies! We love homemade pizza (:
ReplyDeleteHugs, Diane
I love those pizza crusts' too! They are very versatile as well. You can also make the regular plain dough into breasticks, foccacia, or cinnamon rolls! :)
ReplyDeleteWow your pizza looks wonderful and the ingredients are all natural...perfect. Thank you for sharing. Stop over to my blog any time. I would love that.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and interesting day.
With all good wishes,
Pat
yum!!! i have been trying to use more whole wheat products...this sounds great!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Trader Joes. It seems I might have seen the line carried somewhere around here, but not an actual store. I'll look it up though! WalMart has some really neat pizza crust type breads, but I didn't have time to check the ingredients which I always check, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!! Hope you have a lovely day, sweetie!
HUGS,
Becky
I need to get the Trader Joes more often. The pizza dough actually looks do-able points-wise; however, cheese is not my friend!
ReplyDeleteAnother reason I wish we had a Trader Joes in our area. I often wished I had good whole wheat pizza dough. You better believe that if I have an opportunity to visit one, this will definitely be on my list, as well as the chocolate cookie mixes that they sell. In one of my cooking magazines, that mix was rated #l, almost like homemade.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that you shared this. Looks so good!
It's so nice to see a healthy alternative! I love making pizzas from scratch! Yummy!
ReplyDeletelooks yummy and sounds pretty easy. I will have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe!
Oh how I long for a Trader Joe's in Utah! Hey Joe, are ya listening?? Yum-ooooo!
ReplyDeletewow, thanks for the heads up on this fabulous pizza dough at a wonderful price.....I read through a couple of your posts and discovered the post about your niece's husband John who lost his life in the 9-11 tragedy. I have met no one that lost someone on the unforgettable day, with that I humbly want you to know that I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour because of that day. I had lots of "stuff" in my life leading up to that day, but it was 9-11 that brought me to my knees. I will always be grateful to all those involved and who lost family. I will pray for your family and thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful weekend...I would luv for you to stop by my blog if you get time!
enjoy *~*
I Will surely try this !!Beautiful !!Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie :)
ReplyDeleteYou wished you could go to the CL Fair and I wish we had Trader Joe's here. I miss that place!
Thank you for your comment a while back. I'm having a hard time keeping up with blogging lately and so it's taking a while for me to say hello to everyone.

Looks good. I'll have to look for that crust next time in Trader Joes. Thanks. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love Trader Joes...we do not have it up here in Canada but I live so close to the US I go quiet often! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Trader Joe's! *pouting* I've heard so much about the store...it's probably much like our Central Market.
ReplyDeleteYour pizza looks delcious!
I'm all over this one, thanks for sharing.
