There is no excuse for my long absence...as we all know it's been a crazy time for us all ! My hope is to return to my blog posting - as I have always adored the friends I have met, the lovely words of encouragement I have received and the inspiration and creativity I have witnessed from so many of you ♥
I realize that many have shifted over to facebook or instagram or other social sharing venues - but there is just something so personal and special about our individual blogs. I realize the time it takes to visit blogs and leave comments, etc....but the idea is not to make it an added burden to our lives - but to use it in the way that works best for ourselves - and have it be an avenue of joy and encouragement and perhaps at times....a place to share in one's challenges as well.
Here's a toast to those that have managed to continue blogging without a break...Bravo!
And here's to those like me that might be trying to make a "comeback"!
Still Staying Cozy,
Carrie
Sooo glad to see you back I love blogging and the friends I have made.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back
Cathy
I did wonder where you went, since you're so "local" to me, and since I grew up in Portland, I always enjoyed your posts. I live not that far away. Glad you're making a comeback! I have continued blogging, but my posts in 2020 were less than normal, as just not that much interesting stuff to write about! I did not get out much and go places where I could take beautiful photos (which I love doing) and did not craft as much as normal. And lately, my blog mojo just isn't there, but I'm not quitting! ReplyDeleteHi Carrie,
ReplyDeleteNice to see you posting in blogland. I agree it is a lot more personal with blogs than IG or FB. I just cannot make the move to just doing IG and not blogging. I like the interaction better with blogging. Happy Friday. Have a good weekend. xoxo Kris
Well, HELLO there!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you here!
Beautiful post and I do hope you continue to brighten this space with your lovely blog. Have a cozy weekend!
Gosh it's been a long time! What have you been up to? I think blogland needs everyone it can get, so many are moving to Facebook. Good to see you back!
ReplyDeleteHello Carrie! I recently returned to my blog, too. I like getting the whole story, not just snippets here and there! ❤️
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I love reading blogs and always have great intentions to return to what there is of mine. (I deleted much of it a few years ago)
ReplyDeleteSuch a joy to visit your lovely place again, Carrie. I too have noticed a lot of bloggers going to instagram. I rather love blogging, even though sometimes weeks may pass by before I post. That's okay though, because blogging should be fun and not a chore to keep to a timetable. Anyway, I look forward to visiting you and seeing what you have been up to. Here's to your happy return to blogging.
ReplyDeleteJust like you, needing inspiration to return. Haven't had much to write about and no one wants to hear "I got up. I went to bed..." Well, I closed on a new house so now I've got something to write. Coming back soon. Hope you will to and show us your pretty place.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Carrie. So glad you are returning to blogging. I miss your cheerful and charming posts. Yes, these women in blog land are some of the finest I've met. They inspire me every day. And when I come over to your design of sweet red cherries, I smile every time. : )
ReplyDeleteI hope you have wonderful February days.

ps.....your little Van is darling. They sure do grow up fast. I like that picture of him with the food on his face. He looks happy.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to keep blogging but I would miss it.
Facebook takes as much to to do sometimes and
it is not always as fun as reading our fave
blogs and seeing those friends.
I am sure you have been enjoying your precious
Grandson too.
Welcome back!!!
M : )
Welcome back Carrie. Take care stay safe and please continue to blog. Have a blessed and wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie! It’s so nice to see you blogging again! Happy Valentine’s Day!
ReplyDeleteGood to see your post, Carrie. I think sometimes a break from blogging is a good thing. Just a chance to regroup, and rethink how we want to do things going forward. I've always felt blogging should be an enjoyable experience, not an obligation. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Carrie! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I took a month long break from blog. Sometimes a break can be a good thing :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you are back!!!
