Here it is...my new "Cozy" Kitchen!
Complete with my new "toy"...a GE profile Microwave/Convection oven.
Oh my goodness girls, you can TOTALLY bake in this thing.
I made delicious muffins the other day and a Hawaiian Chicken Casserole too!
I baked three large pans of muffins at the same time!
I baked three large pans of muffins at the same time!
I don't think I will ever use the regular oven again!
And since it is up high there is no bending over!
Yipee!
Yipee!
I LOVE IT!
And does anyone else have one of these Hamilton Beach combo toaster/toaster ovens!
Right before we moved my toaster died and I found this one on sale at Fred Meyers.
It takes up the same space as my old toaster too!
So here's the deal....since there was no pantry here...
my husband and I decided to turn the coat closet into one..
the only thing...there wasn't quite enough room for all of my baking supplies.
In case you didn't know...I LOVE to bake!

and I thought...

We took out the hanging bar, added some shelves and VOILA!
Didn't it work out great?
Just the perfect size for under the staircase....

Your house is lovely. You have a real knack for decorating. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCarrie!!! I love everything you have done, how wonderfully you have used the space. You are a true Mental Ninja. I am so happy to see the golden oak with the dark granite, for I have similar cabinets and we want to put in granite tile on the counter tops and now I know what it will look like. Gotta go right now and check out that combo microwave! Mine is 22 years old and I have been fearing it's eminent death, but fear no longer! Congratulations on an excellent job and Welcome Home!

I love seeing the inside of your new home. Everything is decorated so nice, and it has such a welcoming feel. I have, to ask, do you have more than one of those Kitchenaid mixers? I saw one with the mixer itself, and then saw it up on the shelf. I'd never have thought to do that, but it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia

ReplyDeleteBtw, do you know that you have Word Verification Setting turned on?
ReplyDeleteDid you know that some bloggers will not come back to blogs, with Word Verification turned on?
We need to protect our blog Comments from SPAM, etc. So I use Comment Verification.
We all read our Comments. I just read mine, and vet them, before I click on them to Publish them. And I don't have to make my readers do Word Ver. :-)
Please don't think me a 'busy-body' for saying this. I just feel it's nice to mention this... In case the blogger doesn't know that Word Ver. is turned on. Or doesn't know there is another simple way, to protect her comments.
Gentle hugs...

Btw, I am having to do Word Ver. 2 times, just to get this comment to show up here. -sigh-

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little larder that cabinet made....
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie! OH, I just love your kitchen and your cabinets are wonderful! Love how you've added those little holders for all your spices. You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
