Before and After....my furniture transformations

It is so fun to find these small furniture pieces and bring new life to them.
It is truly a satisfying feeling to see them transform and then find a new home.

This little beauty took well to its' new gray chippy finish!

Then it traveled to my booth at the Red Door to find a new owner!

Here are some other finished pieces.
I keep forgetting to take the "before" picture!
Guess I get too excited to get the project started.

A small childs chair that was in poor shape...was dressed up with
 a light yellow distressed finish.

This pedestal, once a mess... is now "pretty in pink".

Mint green was a nice change for this previously worn out small table.

Voila...Revamped and Resold!

Stay Cozy,
Carrie

  1. All of them look so good in their new coats of paint. I love the small projects like that, too. I have a painting job I want to do tomorrow..a vintage wicker love seat, so I'm hoping we have a pretty day without wind...I need to get outside as I am using a pretty Satin black spray paint.
Today, I flocked a small Christmas tree that I found at a thrift store...I will share it a little after Thanksgiving.

  2. You have done a wonderful job and given them many more years of life. The childs chair was a delight, a great colour.

  3. Wish oh wish I could pop into your beautiful booth. I think I would have to have a furniture removal van outside in readiness for all the pretties I would purchase. How fabulous is that table! Love the design of it...AND....the "pretty in pink" pedestal....yes please! Love how your have made each pretty beautiful again.

  7. They all look darling! I love all sorts of little tables and benches, stools, etc. Amazing what a coat of paint does. Are you using chalk paint? Do you put the wax on it? Just curious. Was just wondering the other day what you'd been up to! I have a couple of little tables that need some cheering up too! xo Marilyn

  8. I want! (*smile*) Now that I'm retired, struggling to discover a purpose, this might be an avenue to investigate. Mind you, I'm about as artistic as a rock, but hope there are on-line tutorials. (Have you any to recommend?)

  9. What lovely work you have done here! Now I am kicking myself for donating an old pedestal that looks almost exactly like yours. I am just now getting into the furniture painting game, so I'll be back to see what else you do.
