~ViNtAgE Valentine~



 These re-production vintage cards gave me inspiration...
to create this Valentine Banner..
Glitter, glue, lace & ribbon...
and vintage buttons too...
..all adorn this fun & festive garland.





 It is 4 1/2 feet long...and each section is 8" X 11"
 It is available in my etsy shop ... if you are interested!

  3. sooooo sweet. we are on vacay right now, but when we get back home i plan on making one of my own. got the supplies.....just need to do it.

    ps.....what a unique double fireplace mantel.....oh what i could do with that :).....i bet you love it being able to do 2 separate vignettes.

  11. I continue to be impressed with the artistic talent that God blessed you with. This banner is so beautiful! Just looking at this banner reminds me of my dear grandma. She always created valentines for her home.

  21. Very cute Carrie! I was thinking about making something similar because my mantel looks so bare after taking the holiday decorations down. I made one for spring last year that I really enjoyed.

    and your mantel
    it looks so much like mine because of the bricks
    and the gold screen cover
    but my mantel is wood 'brown'
    I have been thinking of painting it white
    it is eight feet long
