It's almost time for my favorite holiday of all...
4th of July!
No gifts or stress... just a wonderful day to enjoy friends and/or family,
relax and celebrate this great country filled
with unimaginable blessings for all.
Of course a little decorating is always fun...
and reminds us of the special day.
Here are some front doors with simple understated decorations to
mark the holiday.

Delicious looking desserts, very patriotic looking! I cannot choose a favourite 4th of July entry as all three are beautiful in their own setting. Though in saying this I must say the first one is very dramatic...love it! Have a lovely and blessed celebration, lovely Carrie.
ReplyDeleteThe dessert looks so tasty. I favoured number one, I loved the style.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun post. I love all the patriotic doors..and anything to do with the fourth this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day and that your comments are working again! xo Diana
I love #1 best but my entrance is more like the second one. I should do something special to my door! At least put a a flag on my door! heehee! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI think I would prefer #3 and PLEASE a cup of this amazing dessert for me !
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Holiday!
Hugs, Susi
Lovely, have a Happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteSo fun hearing fromn everyone!
ReplyDeleteCarrie, What wonderful front doors. I like them all. I need to a bit of decorating here. I usually make a centerpiece and do the mantle. Blessings, enjoy your wonderful summer. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie.... those are all such pretty front door entries. I think I like #2 best as is a little more cottage looking. I always love a bench by the front door and I like the lighter colors. Love the dessert cups too.. so pretty and would be easy and fun to make! I think I may be alone this year as hubby is off house sitting for my sister while she is in Florida visiting her son and grandson. We take turns going.. and this time I'm staying home and he's going... at least I can watch the fireworks.. but would be fun maybe to make a pretty dessert... just for me, myself and I! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 is very impressive, and something about the vintage bunting over the door adds to the historical importance of the day. I love the Fourth too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely July 4th,
Dewena
I love number one...very pretty! And that dessert looks delicious and festive!
ReplyDeleteI vote for #2! The dessert looks like a celebration in itself. I'm sure my layers would never line up like that, but I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteThe dessert looks delicious and the decorations are great. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI love the 4th of July too. The first door would be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love #[ number 2 is too busy, and my fave is the third cause i like a minimalist look.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my Blog!!! I'll follow you too!!! We are actually getting ready to go to a cozy cottage on one of our fave Adirondack lakes about 2 1/2 hours northmwest of us, we will be there for a week! Yay!!!
i liked all of the doors, all for different reasons. if i had to pick, i would pick #3...it is more my style!!
ReplyDeletethe desert looks great!! thanks for stopping by!!
Hi Carrie - thanks for stopping by. I favor the simplicity of #3...but really would love to taste that dessert!! Enjoy the 4th!
ReplyDeleteI love these doors! I think I like the second one best, it looks doable!! I don't think I've ever decorated the city house as we are at the lake every year for the 4th. There, we do up the patio in a festive way, we have tons of company, and really celebrate our good fortune in living in America.
ReplyDeleteThe dessert looks really yummy. I'm going to the lake tomorrow so I hope I have time to do some fun things before the weekend, when the whole lake celebrates.
Thanks for your visit, Carrie!

I think the last one, cause I am a minimalist, and this front porch looks simple and lovely.
