Do I have to "starter" over?

I started making sourdough bread in February but then I had my accident, and my "starter"
has been living in the fridge waiting for me to get back to it.

Good News...
I was able to feed it and revive it and I am off to the "sourdough" races once again!

Homemade sourdough is just full of probiotics for a healthy guy microbiome.

And it is fun to make too...albeit a challenge at times.

No two loaves are ever the same.
Anyway...it makes me feel like I am returning to normal baking these beauties once again.

  1. Carrie, how wonderful you are making bread again. They turned out great. My son-in-law made sourdough bread for a time, and he began to master it. When I visited, they always gave me a slice warm from the oven with butter. I hope you are feeling better. I miss your delightful blog posts.

  2. Wonderful!! I love sourdough but I felt it was so much waste for me and my husband so I let it go but your bread sure does look great.
