A Trio of Bitty Bogg Bags ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘œ Help Me Choose!

I have somehow ended up with three different Bogg Bitty bags sitting on my table—two authentic ones and one very convincing dupe from Hobby Lobby.

If you have never heard of Bogg Bags, it was all started by a mom who was frustrated hauling gear for her kids and her family that she could never find a bag that worked. So, she decided to make one herself. There are all kinds of accessories and fun clip ons for the bags too. Similar to Crocs.

Bogg Bag Story

Anyway, I didn’t plan it this way, but here we are. If you’ve ever fallen down the Bogg rabbit hole, you understand how quickly colors, sizes, and “maybe I’ll use this one more” can multiply.

So now I’m in that familiar place: which one (or ones!) do I keep?

The two authentic Bittys are both adorable in their own ways. The colors are different enough that each one gives off its own vibe—one soft and pretty, one a little bolder. The quality is exactly what you expect from Bogg: sturdy, flexible, and that perfect little purse‑size that doesn’t overwhelm me.

"And fun surprise—both of these were about half the usual price thanks to a lucky TJ Maxx find.

And then there’s the dupe. Honestly? It’s great too. The color is white, the shape is right, and if you didn’t know Bogg bags well, you might not notice the difference at first glance. Only thing it did not come with is the little added on zipper pouch. But that is certainly not a "deal breaker".

One more thing...I plan to use my Bitty Bag as a purse, so I want something that feels like me every day. Something that works with my outfits, my accessories, and my little routines. And of course, I want to be practical… but also a little bit joyful. Bags should spark joy, right?

I do like color!

The best part? I already had a little purse insert on hand, and it fits each Bitty like it was made for them.

I can just lift it out, pop it into another color, and go.

So now I’m narrowing it down. Do I keep the soft, pretty one? The brighter one? Both? Do I let the dupe go even though it’s cute and is neutral to go with everything?  I've been giving myself a little time to carry them around the house and see which ones feel right.

After all, sometimes the best way to decide is simply to live with them for a minute.

I know this isn’t a life‑changing decision, but it’s been a surprisingly fun one to sort through.

“I’d love to know—do you think I should keep the two real ones, or does the dupe deserve a spot too?”

“Help me decide—what would you keep if these were sitting on your table?”

Off to switch my bag again,

Carrie

  1. First of all, thanks for introducing me to the Bogg Bag, Carrie. I'd never seen nor heard of this purse before. What I love is that you have the insert that fits into any of these purses so quickly. Changing pocketbooks has never been a favorite pastime for me. I might just keep them all! Blessings!

  2. I have seen the bags, and a very interesting, useful-looking spin-off of a very wide one---baby carry size---which snaps together with those rubber snubs, and unsnaps to become your own private Changing Table anywhere. Neat-O. And I love the Pinks.

  3. I have a former co-worker who introduced me to these bags and loves them! I love your insert. I think you need to keep them all. :)

  4. I would keep them all if I could :) I had never heard of these bags or seen them. I am a pink girl so the blush one is my favorite!

  5. You all are making me smile—there really is a strong vote to keep all three! I’ve been carrying them around the house and switching the insert back and forth, and it’s honestly been such a fun little decision to play with. Each one has its own sweet personality, and I love hearing which colors you’re drawn to. Thanks for weighing in and sharing the joy with me! ๐Ÿ’—

  6. I'm new here and I know I shall return. I vote for all 3 too. That insert makes that decision easy for me. I really dislike changing purses when everything hasto be dumped from one to another.

    1. Sue, I’m so glad you stopped by — welcome! Your vote for all three is making me smile. That insert really does make the whole “switching purses” thing so easy, especially for those of us who don’t love dumping everything out just to change bags. I’m happy you’re here, and I hope you’ll come back again soon. ๐Ÿ’—

  7. Well, I must be honest; all three look great. But I don't normally carry such a bag when I go shopping. I find it cheaper to tie my trousers tight with string at the ankles then fill my pants with the goods I have bought. It makes it difficult walking home though.

    God bless.

    1. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I have to admit, your “tie the trousers and fill the pants” method is certainly… efficient, but I think I’ll stick with my little Bitty Bogg for now. Much easier to walk home with! Thanks for the smile today

  8. Hello!!! Oh, man!! If you could keep all three I would. The light lavender is perfect for spring. I could see the white rocking it in May and then that awesome pink in JUNE AND JULY!!!!

  11. Hello Carrie! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and leaving me such encouraging words! I'm not familiar with Bogg bags, but they are adorable and I think you should keep all three of them. :) Have a great weekend!

  12. I really like the brighter pink one...which surprised me because I usually go for the softer, more neutral colors. The bags look like fun. I like the bigger holes in the Bogg Bag as compared to the one from Hobby Lobby. Decisions-decisions-decisions. Only you can decide which one(s) you will really use regularly. Hugs-Diana

  13. I've not heard of these bags before. I'm not fond of plastic so I wouldn't use any of them, but you do what makes you happy, even if that's keeping all three of them.

  14. If it were me, I’d probably keep the two authentic ones for the quality and the joy they bring, and maybe let the dupe go since it doesn’t have that extra zipper pouch. But honestly, if it sparks happiness and works with your outfits, there’s nothing wrong with keeping all three for a little variety.

  15. Oh! My granddaughter has a big one of those in the back area of her Tahoe! Looks just like the ones with the pouch but without the pouch. She loves it for her shopping storage.
I wonder if it’s made by the same company … Anyway, those purses are so cute! I think I like the pink/ beige one…but it’s hard to choose. Enjoy them!

  16. I have never heard of these. I would say since you have that convenient insert that you should keep all three and change out the colors when the mood strikes.

  17. Sorry I’m playing catch. I had been gone to AZ visiting family. I had never heard of these. But I think they are adorable! My favorites are the 2 real ones. They are my favorite colors - red and pink. So if it were me I’d keep both. Lol Fun problem to have. ❤️๐Ÿ’—

  18. Well, this is all new to me! Where have I been?? I like them all, and would probably keep the two original, and switch them out seasonally. Now I am off to explore!

  19. I like all of the bags, but I am really trying to minimize my 'stuff' and would keep the bright pink and let the others go.

  21. Hi Carrie. Great to meet you. Thanks for stopping by. LOVE that this mom made bags that worked for her and her family. And others as well. That's the good stuff when we make things that work. Love that. Cheers, Ivy.

  22. Unfortunately everything and every design is stolen by China and reproduced. It is a shame. A fun bag though even though I have never heard of it. Janice

  24. I've never heard of Bogg Bitty Bags. They wouldn't be for me but you obviously love them and should consider keeping all three๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

  25. There are good points for each bag so I would find it hard to decide. Dark pink to be bold, light pink for pretty and white for practicality.

  26. I love these bags Carrie and have never heard of them but how enterprising of the mom. I'm glad you shared this post. Thank you :)

  27. I never heard of these bags, Carrie! Red is my favorite color, so I’d probably keep that one, but the white would go with everything!
