These little "Walnut Dabs" are just perfect for a sweet treat without too much of the "sweet"! They are quick to make and even quicker to eat. You can use any other kind of nut that you like. Perhaps whatever you have on hand. I have made them with walnuts, pecans and even macadamians! Try them ....I guarantee you will like them! Seriously, I know they don't look like much...but they are sooo tasty!
"Walnut Dabs"
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 eggs
2/3 cup butter or margarine softened
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray small muffin pan with spray butter (I use canola) or line with paper muffin liners. Beat eggs and butter until smooth. Add the sugar. Cream. Add the flour and stir until just combined. Spoon into muffin pan 2/3 full. Bake about 14-16 mins. Dump the muffins out of the pan while they are still hot. (they will come out easier)
ENJOY!
You're right! Those look delicious! I could use something sweet about now.

They look scrumptious and easy to make with so few ingredients. I love nuts but my son doesn't. Hmmm...wondering if I could substitute something else in place of the nuts...
