Our Trip to a Beautiful Lavender Farm in Hood River, Oregon!
We were there at the height of the season...this past August.
As my husband stood in the gazebo...
...all was quiet...
except for the collective sound of the buzzing bees!
...all was quiet...

Everything was "Lavender" ~ even the outhouse!
...or shall I say the "Loo"!

It looks nicer than my ensuite bathroom does at the moment. I bet the scent in the air was amazing...I mean the lavender not the port-a-potties.

OH that lavender loo is hilarious!!!! And lucky you! What beautiful fields of purple! We have a lavender farm about 2 hours from me and every year I say I am going to go down during lavender season - then it comes and it goes and I have forgotten to take that drive. :(

ReplyDeleteIt must have smelled lovely! We drove right by the place last year in May. Of course the fields were not in bloom then. WE were on our way to Victoria Island.via Oregon.
What a fun day you had..
I hope to go back one day when the fields are in bloom..

OH this is amazing! How I would love to go there! My sister loves to visit the lavender farms in Washington too: Sunshine Herb and Lavender Farm and Graysmarsh Farm. I always seem to be there at the wrong time of year, so I miss out on the prime bloom time.
