When we downsized to our townhouse I wasn't sure what to do
with my collection of scarves.
I love to wear scarves...to me they are like wearing a necklace!
I love to wear scarves...to me they are like wearing a necklace!
I had been keeping them in this black trunk....
which was fine until I needed to actually wear them!
It is getting cold here...and looking through the endless pile of tangled mufflers
was getting old...fast. Hmmm...what to do?
A simple curtain rod and a couple of tools....and...it's an "ah-ha" moment!
And now there is plenty of room in the trunk for my shawls!
YES ~ it feels good to be organized!
Bring on the snow!
it's perfect!
ReplyDeletegood for you on getting organized!
Wow Carrie I've never seen such a collection of scarves, no wonder they needed organising!

ReplyDeleteThose pumpkin cream cheese muffins from the last post sound delicious!
Blessings,

This is such a great idea. My curtain rod would definitely be a little smaller; you have quite a collection. TFS
ReplyDeleteI love scarfs and shawls too! They are all over the place in different corners and places around the house... no place for a curtain rod like you have there though... great idea nevertheless!!!

ReplyDeleteFantastic way to organize your scarves.
ReplyDeleteCan you help me figure out a way to organize my pillows (i have a small problem with collecting them)
Carrie, This post has me giggling because my daughter is a scarf fiend as well only she uses the curtain rod on her bedroom window to hang them! When it starts getting a little thin because she has not put any back, I complain that the neighbors will be able to see in. I wish you and your family the best Thanksgiving holidays! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteHey...you and me both...my scarf collection is in one big heap in my closet!!! Your idea is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt is getting cold out...today was the coldest yet...burrrrr
