“Stop and smell the flowers”.... most of us know what it means...
but how often do we actually stop and smell the flowers?
This expression was intended to help us realize the importance of enjoying the
simple pleasures of life.
But many of us forget to take time to do this nearly as much
as we should or as much as we think we do.
as we should or as much as we think we do.
Take a moment from your usual routine today to notice the little things around you...
And you might just pick a flower along the way...
Stay Cozy,
Carrie
This is true....stop and smell the roses, a lot of times we don't take the time to slow down and realize how much we are blessed.....
ReplyDeleteBy reading your blog today, it really made my day!
Thanks for sharing!
So cute and so true!
ReplyDeleteI say this all the time. I remember telling my cousin this. She never had time to plan a get together. When I told her this she suddenly changed. You never know how much time you have left so you need to make the best of it. She was the cousin I lost last year to H1N1
ReplyDeleteIs that your home> what a cute picture. thank you for the reminder to slow down and enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteOh dear!!!! Maybe stop to EAT the flowers too.
ReplyDeleteI try to remember to count my blessings every day. There are so so many of them. The problem I have is with the "stopping" part!
ReplyDeletethanks for the important reminder!

What a cute photo. The deer even noticed the flowers, only they were inside the house.
