Easter Morning Surprise...

Every Easter my mom would "surprise" us with 
"Easter Basket Cupcakes"
Although they are quite simple to make...
Easter morning would not have been the same without them.

You see my mom was a single mom of 7 kids with no support at all!
She worked full time outside of the home and overtime inside the home...
but she managed to make each holiday very special for each of us kids.

Being a mom of 5 myself...
 I am in awe of how she accomplished it!

    Your mother sounds like a wonderful hard working woman. She was way ahead of the game making Easter Basket Cupcakes when you were young!

    Such precious memories of your childhood, honoring your mom. I'll bet you're a lot like her. :)

    My kids would LOVE those cupcakes. They are fascinated with all the cupcake shows and shops that have popped up over the last few years.

    Those are so cute, Carrie. I do the cupcakes like that but the handle to make a basket just makes them. What sweet memories of your Mom...she was special.
