We are having a major "snow + ice storm" here in Portland.
We are essentially "snow-bound" ...so I decided to do a little "browsing".
When I went to visit my blog I realized my last post was a year ago TODAY exactly!!!
Wow A YEAR AGO! My how time flies....
A lot has happened in a year...and where have I been? Well two years ago I went back to work "outside the home - part-time"...and before I knew it - part-time turned into 40+ hours a week...and blogging and Etsy and Ebay just seemed impossible.
I have really missed my blogging friends and I have so much to get ya'all caught up on
In fact just over the Christmas holiday we moved...again...to a new "cozy cottage"
- so much to show you...so much to talk about -
But I can't forget it's almost Valentine's Day, it's just around the corner ♥
The Love Day....
so here's a fun + easy idea I found to help celebrate...
It's a paper basket...and we all have some awesome craft paper at hand...
A quick paper container to fill with some Valentine "sweets"...
from Chic 'n Scratch.
♥You can give them to your co-workers, kids or honey ♥
Use your imagination for the "fillings".
It only takes minutes to make...and here is the tutorial.
Have fun...
And please stay tuned...I can't wait to share with you what has happened
in my life while I was away!
I have been following you all - but from a quiet distance!
I am excited to return - and I hope you'll come on board!
Stay Cozy,
Carrie
Welcome back! Lovely to hear from you. I know it can be so hard to manage work, home and fit in blogging chat too.

Hi Carrie! Glad to see that you're blogging again. It's a challenge to squeeze everything we have/want to do into a 24 hour day. What I love about blogging is that you can fade in and out at any time and friends are still there, waiting to greet you.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see photos of your new home!
This Valentine project is clever...I will check out the tutorial.
xoxo

Welcome back! I understand when working its hard to get around to blogging. Glad to know you are okay:). Have a nice day! Twyla
ReplyDeleteLife happens...sometimes you just need that break! The snow looks pretty there, those kinds of days make you want to create indoors! Thanks so much for stopping by, Carrie!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Carrie!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was surprised to see your comment this morning and then a blog post, too!
I look forward to seeing your new home. ♥
Carrie - I was forced to take a break as well. This last year was a year of big changes on the tail end of some very difficult times for my family. I didn't post much about it, working three jobs, illness, stress....life. Right? I am glad you are back no matter how often or not. We are still here. ~Kelly

ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back. I can't wait to hear all the happenings.
ReplyDeleteWell, so nice to meet you as I do not think we've met but I do hope you can find the time to blog once in a while and visit around. Sounds as if you have been one very busy lady this past year. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteI wondered where you went. YES we are snowed in and it is beautiful but also a nuisance. Rex hill going into Newberg was closed for awhile. We have about 8 inches at our house.
ReplyDeleteCOLD.
Can't wait to see where you moved.
Glad to see you still have my blog on your site. Take care and be safe. Sharon O

ReplyDeleteHey Carrie! Do you remember me from Cottage on the Curve. I've been gone for probably 3 years. I'm back and have a new blog ~ A Wandering Mountainista. It's good to be back blogging. Love, Pat
ReplyDeleteI have missed you so often, but be assured, with every brown bag of popcorn that my husband and I consumed this snowy, winter, I thought of you. Thanks so much for sharing that popular idea with us. We love it!
