It's so nice to have a pretty outdoor space to enjoy. We 'live' in our lanai so I'm not sure we would spend time in our courtyard but maybe one of these days we'll sit out there! Hugs!
Carrie love love your backyard. So pretty and inviting. How nice you are beginning to see Spring. We have not gotten their yet here in the midwest hopefully soon. Your deck is so cozy and pretty. Enjoy. Kris
I wanted to come and visit your blog also. Ok, I am seriously jealous of your totally manicured magazine ready yard. Wow.. beautiful. I really like your cozy deck and could seriously live comfortably right on that sweet deck.
Carrie I can tell you are excited about spring arriving. I thought it would still be snowing in Oregon for some reason. Our summer is over here in Australia and we are looking forward to the cooler weather before the heatwaves start up again. I have a friend who lives in a little place called Halfway in Oregon.
Thank you so much for visiting my place, Carrie. I am delighted you did because that means I found my way to your beautiful place. How exciting for you that Spring has arrived. I must say your deck is lovely; such a gorgeous spot to enjoy your garden. Love those pretty cushions. Have a beautiful Spring day, lovely lady!
It warms my heart to see you have taken the time to leave me a message here...If you are new here I will be sure to stop by and visit...and for my friends...I will pop over a see what you are doing too♥
Well, I made it back to Miami just in time to welcome this little cutie into the world. Stilla was born on July 5th via C-section and my husband and I were able to stay for three weeks to visit and help out! Her 2-year-old sister, Lini , was a bit hesitant about this new little person joining their family... But soon warmed up to the idea. Especially when she knew she was going to have some special Grandma/Grandpa time , filled with playdoh, painting, new toys and treats! Isn't life just filled with blessings! Stay Cozy my friends... Love, Carrie
Yes, our Little Pearl got picked up by the Doggy Police yesterday... She was in Doggie Jail for an hour or so...Here is what happened! All of a sudden I get a call from my husband who is in California for business... He tells me that he just got a call from the Animal Shelter here in Oregon. They have our dog Pearl and she is on her way to the "Big House". I had just walked in the front door and hadn't yet realized she was missing. It turns out she was only about 5 or 6 houses away. She was found running with another dog by some neighbors. They picked her up and called the shelter. The other dog got away! Anyway the officer came and...thank goodness...she has a "MICROCHIP". That is the only way they found us....because she is so little (4 lbs.) she can barely wear a tag. Without that chip and the honesty of the finders, we might not have ever found her... I raced to the shelter, which was about 30 minutes from my house....it was 5:20 and...
I am so excited to be a part of... Where Bloggers Create II Please come in and browse through my crafting space that I have just completed. in the townhome that we just recently downsized to. It was a challenge, but one that I was up for... If you follow back on my other posts you can tour all the other rooms too! Have Fun! Here we go... My baskets are filled with my fabric labeled and sorted by colors! I didn't have room for my "Pot Rack" in this smaller kitchen so I used it in here... ...it holds the baskets that I use for my gifts and crafts! I've gotta have my ribbons close at hand... ... all it takes is an empty cabinet and some tension rods! Jars make for excellent storage! You don't even have to buy them...just use up your empty mayonaise and pickle jars! Goo-gone or Goof- off help take off the labels...after a hot water soak! I get extra storage by using this over-the-door shoe holder! All of my tulle is handy to grab he...
Your back yard is so inviting. You've inspired me to do some potting of my own.

ReplyDeleteOh I absolutely adore your shady outdoor sitting area! It is ready for spring, for sure! Looking good!
I woke to 4 inches of snow this morning. *Sigh*
I know it will come, I just wish it would hurry cuz I want to clean out my outdoor covered patio space, that I refer to as my "Zen Room."
You can see it here if you want to read an old post about it:
