🌟 A Cozy Little December Wrap‑Up 🌟

When I started my new job at my local Hallmark Store in October, it was the start of the Christmas season and therefore, it was a very busy time. But although there was much to do, it was such a fun holiday time at the store, with kind customers, special gifts and offerings for sale and a boss who treated us to a most generous gift to thank us for our hard work and dedication. The very large bag was filled with the most wonderful presents each wrapped and chosen with love and thoughtfulness.

While having a great season, I still missed blogging and visiting my favorite blogs, especially during the most wonderful time of the year.

I do hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and your New Year is starting off with a bang!

Here is a little photo catch-up!

Family time...the best!

Santa and Mrs. Claus visited the store.

We made time to attend the Christmas theater production at our church.

A surprise party for my December birthday!

Christmas crafting + coffee...a must-do!

Our decorated tree.

One of our five cute + funny grandkids!

A December mantle - with the hand carved Santas sent yearly from my brother-in-law!

This year was #10.

Zoo Lights!

Breakfast with Santa!

Baking cookies with Dad!

My "must have" cranberry thumbprints.

There you have it - December in snapshots.

Happy New Year to you all...may you be blessed abundantly!

Stay Cozy,

Carrie

  3. Thanks so much, Carrie, for sharing your family holiday photos here with us. What a great Christmas y'all had! Your brother-in-law is so talented, creating these unique Santas to adorn your mantle. We were also blessed by family visits over Christmas break. I miss them so much! Thanks for visiting my blog, my friend.

  4. Hi Carrie, looks like you had a wonderful Christmas with lots of family love and activities. I've always loved the Hallmark stores. We used to have two in this area, but both closed down a few years ago. That sounds like a wonderful job to have.
For some reason your blog doesn't update on my feed. I will look into that. Happy New Year! x

  10. Thank you for stopping by my blog and posting. I had no idea of Kay Spreckels of Spreckels Sugar fame - being married to Clark Gable or that they had a son. Very interesting.
Are you still working or was it a seasonal job? Are you posting again? I just write once a week these days. Your home was very lovely at Christmas and looks like you have a wonderful family.
