Our littlest granddaughter had a rough one while on a shopping trip with dad — a tumble, a few tears, and a set of stitches she definitely didn’t plan on.
She was as brave as any 18-month-old little girl can be...but honestly, it can be almost harder on the grown-ups.
But the sweetest part came when she got home. Her big sister — who’d had the exact same injury not long ago — was waiting like a tiny expert in all things stitches and bravery. She wrapped her arms around her, offered sympathy, and shared her own “I survived this too” wisdom.
And just like that, the fear softened.
The grown‑ups exhaled.
The girls giggled.
🌸 Kids heal quickly. Parents take a little longer.
But sisterhood makes everything easier. 🌸
Stay Cozy,
(and out of the emergency room)
Carrie
