Well Oscar Meyer thinks their quesadilla is "Blog Worthy". This ad was in the recent issue of Redbook magazine. Isn't it amazing how mainstrean the word "blog" is becoming. Not too long ago...only a handful of people knew what a blog was! And now there is a new concept..."blog worthiness". So what makes something become "blog worthy" anyway? I would have to say it is truly in the eye of the blogger and the blog reader (is their a special name for that...perhaps the blogee?) Blog worthiness is as individual as the blogger herself! We can get caught up in worrying if our post is "good enough" or "catchy"....or "blog worthy". But just like a diary or a journal, that's not the point. The idea is to record your thoughts, ideas, creations and artistry in your personal and unique way! After all...we are all "blog worthy".

ReplyDeleteYou are right Carrie! We are all blog worthy! I saw on someones blog a icon that was called B.W.O.
ReplyDeleteBLOG WITHOUT OBLIGATION...I think I'm going to find it, pick it up and do a post, because it so well explains those of us that just want to chat, are here for the fun of it, and no obligation to post. Myabe THAT might become a mainstream for some of us! :)

Thank you for that! I often find myself editing and rewriting because I'm afraid people won't like what I have to say that day. It's not about that...it's about getting my experiences down in one form or another and not worrying about what anyone else thinks.

More people are becoming aware of blogs. Some of my friends and relatives laughed when they first heard me use the word. ☺ I wonder how long it will take to make it into the dictionary? ♥
ReplyDeleteWell put Carrie..totally agree with you ....all blogs are unique and personal..that is why i love to read them all....i am finding bloggers to be amazingly creative people!!! Plus they are sooo nice!!!
ReplyDeleteI like this post! You are so right...as long as it is meaningful to us...it is blogworthy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit today. I enjoyed checking out your blog...the yummy apple cake...and the rag quilt (of which I have made several).

I totally agree and think that you should write for your self and your own reasons.
ReplyDeleteI write purely for my children so that when I die (which hopefully is in a long time from now) they will be able to hear me through my words.
Love Renee xoxo
