Paper Cones lend an air of festivity!
Don't wait for a special occasion to give a friend a paper cone filled with fresh flowers!
There are gorgeous flowers blooming everywhere... free for the picking...
~clip the edges of an 8 1/2" X 11" printed paper with decorative scissors.
~roll the paper into a cone and staple or hot glue gun to hold it together.
~punch a hole on each side or at the back to run a ribbon through.
~leave ample room to hang the cone from a doorknob.
~embellish the front of the cone however you would like.
~gather fresh flowers, wrap a damp paper towel at the base and wrap again in a small baggie.
~place flowers in the cone
~Surprise a friend, neighbor or co-worker by leaving the cone on their door knob at home or at the office~
Neat idea, thanks.

Very pretty. These would be great for May Day too.
ReplyDeleteHello Carrie~ I've missed my visits, but look forward to catching up.
ReplyDeleteSo, I poured myself a cup of tea and read a spell.
I love making and gifting Tussie Mussies too. They're perfect for this time of year.
As spring approaches I like to apply it's inspirational palette of colors into a few DIY decorations and gifts, with a little baking/cooking in between.
Don't you love the aroma that fills the air during this season?
It's definitely invigorating.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
Hi Carrie! Thank you for stopping by to visit me while I was gone dealing with my dreaded computer...It was so hard not being able to visit blogs everyday...you never know how much you miss something until it is gone. Anyway, I hope you had a beautiful Easter, ours was nice and relaxing but I ate too much! I love the pretty cones with the flowers... you have made them seem so easy to make that I'm going to have to give it a try one of these days. Have a nice week friend! hugs, Jennifer
ReplyDeleteOne of my earliest memories is walking with my mom to the neighbors to leave a "May basket", a homemade basket with grape hyacinths. Thanks for the memory.
