Green Tomato Season...

Last October I did a post on my Green Tomato Cake....
...well here we go again...more green tomatoes I need to use up!


Here are some ideas for you!
First of all fabulous Green Tomato Cake...trust me it's absolutely delicious!

The tomatoes make the cake so moist and yummy!

...and of course Fried Green Tomatoes!

    7. wow, I am really intriuged by the green tomato cake!! I may need to try that one! And the green tomato soup- not a fan of the regular tomato, but this one I'd try! I love all your ideas :)

    11. gosh, i don't think i've ever had a green tomato. are they just red tomatoes that haven't ripened? (am i sounding like a dumb-dumb from RI?)

    16. That cake looks seriously good and oh so moist. My tomato plants were a huge disappointment this year. Very few tomatoes of any color. Better luck next year, I guess.

    21. Okay ... I can admit, although I saw the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" I forget that they're really food. I will just take your word for it - but I would definitely come running over to your house if I lived close for all of your "fixins!" These look delicious!!!!!

    25. Carrie, I am thrilled to see my old mixer in the previous post. An anniversary addition was manufactured which I think this one is, and I simply wore it out with use. I loved that it had a wide bowl. You and your green tomatoes! Why is it that I didn't have any green ones on my vines? They all turned red! I hope you have a lovely weekend! Elizabeth
