Just in case you missed this post from last year....
Did You Know...
that you can pop popcorn in an ordinary paper bag?
Use a regular lunch size brown paper bag...
...pour in popcorn kernels to cover the bottom of the bag
...white or yellow...your choice!
You don't need to add anything else!
Just fold down the top of the bag a couple of times and lay it down in your microwave.
I use the popcorn setting.
You may need to add some extra time depending on your microwave oven.
Just listen for it to stop popping.
And Voila!
Microwave popcorn without any chemicals or artificial preservatives.
I never buy microwave popcorn from the market anymore!
It pops perfectly!
You can add whatever you would like for seasoning...
I use the spray Olive Oil or Canola Oil and some salt!
That makes it even healthier and more low-fat!
I heard about this but have never tried it. Sounds like a great idea and cost effective too! Should also be a lot healthier. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI read about this last year and tried it and it worked. I was making it for awhile and than Hubby bought me a hot air popper. Anything is better than buying those bags with all the chemicals in them.
