I was given a bag of small pears the other day...
and as you know...they ripen quickly...
So I made this Fresh Pear Cake!
  So moist & tasty...it doesn't need icing!

I made a large sheet cake size!

I sent a plate to my neighbor to says thanks
for a really nice gesture she made over the weekend!

Stay Cozy, Carrie

(go here for the recipe)

  2. Your pear cake looks delicious!! I'll have to try this! We have some new neighbors, two doors down. This weekend I want to take something over to them. I have seen a couple of kids there and I'm really happy we are getting new young families on our block.

  7. That looks scrumptious! Keeping in the moistness in a cake is just what a cake needs, isn't it?!?! :)

  11. I love pears, love them! Always looking for new ways to use them. I actually stopped breathing for a second when I was looking at your photos… I better go bake that so I can exhale!
