The color PINK is often associated with love and kindness.
It is a gentle, nurturing color that is associated with nurturing,
caring, and supportive relationships.
In many cultures, the color pink is also associated with romance and love.
PINK is a warm and welcoming color.
Whether swaying from a hook...
I was drawn to bring this uplifting color into my guestroom.
After all...
Carrie
Very nice photos. I have pink hearts and flowers decorating my living room for Valentines day. The other rooms have red hearts and flowers.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of red in the other areas of my house -!
DeleteBut Wait! Which photo is in your guest room? I have started doing little vignettes of pink, I love it!
ReplyDeleteAll the photos are my guest room, Ginny.
DeletePretty in pink! Stay warm and cozy too. Janice
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie, So good to see your sweet blog. I used to have a wonderful pink bedroom. I always loved it. Stay warm and safe. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteNo pink in my house except on the clothes in my closet. But I was immediately drawn to the Portland Oregon sign... my birth town!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live now, Willow?
DeleteI don't really have any pink in our home, however, I think it is very calming color. My neighbor still has her Christmas tree up and she decorated it with pink hearts and pink and white decorations and flowers. It is beautiful. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteI guess her Christmas Tree has turned into a Valentine Tree!
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love those quilts ... and especially the vintage knobs!
ReplyDeleteThe only pink in my home is a subtle 'faded rose' pattern on my bedroom's window valance, but I love it all the same.
Your guest room is so warm and welcoming, Carrie. I just love all the little details...like that sweet shelf!
ReplyDeleteI love the color pink but it doesn’t look good on me. I always wanted a baby girl. I would have done her room in pink bliss! God gave me 3 sons instead. I don’t have any space in my own to devote to total pinkness. I do have some cutesy pink items I pull out for February!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post.
Oh Carrie, your pink guest bedroom is so charming. It says "welcome" to me. Those pink quilts are pretty, and I love the wreath. PINK is such a happy color. I like that Portland Oregon sign too. We are practically neighbors, as I'm in the northern part of California. : )

Your guests must surely love staying in that lovely room all decorated in pink. Very inviting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming blog you have. Pink is a colour I enjoy in the deeper values or shades, heading in the direction of dusky pink, plum or mauve. Such a delightful colour!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful winter pictures! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet cozy and comfortable and so springy!

I have always loved pink! All of the warm colors really - red, pink & orange are top favorites. I love your touches. So pretty and welcoming. 💕
ReplyDeleteOh my beloved color of pink! it's my most fave of all! I've loved it since I was a teen! Finally, about 10 years ago, I painted my master bedroom pink! Yup I did! My hubby was OK with it. Was a very soft pink, and everything (mostly) in the room was pink and green. The walls were pink! I loved it.... and had quilts and sheets that were pink and green. It was a little hard during the holidays to put Fall colors in there, plus at Christmas, my Christmas quilt was a little clashy! But oh I loved it. Now I'ved moved to Astoria, Oregon and the bedroom here was already a newly painted darker tan.. not light beige which I don't like but a darker chocolate milk sort of tan.. and I really like it and am enjoying the neutral color I now have to mix my other things with. I still have my pink quilts! But am now enjoying some more summery and Fall colors of greens and a peachy orange, with some browns and golds. It's fun to have something different for awhile! Maybe pink will show it's face one of these days! Marilyn
