Goodbye Starbucks - Hello Instant Pot...

Have you tried these egg bites at Starbucks -
they cost over $4 for only 2!

Easy Instant Pot Egg Bites - Make them yourself.

HERE'S HOW...

I used only 4 ingredients - chopped broccoli ( blanched), eggs,
chopped onion and a little milk ( I used almond milk).
The best part about these Instant Pot Sous Vide Egg Bites is that they’re
totally customizable - add what you like...you can even use just the whites.

I used my 6 qt Instant Pot to make these Sous Vide Egg Bites.

I found some baby food silicone trays at my thrift store for 99 cents that
fit perfectly inside the Instant Pot, one on top of the other...
the first one placed on the trivet that comes with the Instant Pot.

I set the Instant Pot to STEAM for 8 minutes. The egg bites were perfectly cooked. It will take about 3-4 minutes for the pressure to build, and then the countdown timer will begin. After the time is up, let the pressure release naturally  before removing the egg bites from the Instant Pot.
That's about 1/2 hour from start to finish!

Heat them in the microwave for 30 secs. for a quick breakfast
or wrap them up and take them with you for lunch.
You can freeze them too.

Enjoy
Stay Cozy,
Carrie

  4. Super compromise! $4+ for 2 eggs is absurd.
I don't have an instant pot, but will try making these in my little silicone Egglettes!

  5. I have never gone to Starbucks. Their prices are a bit to high for me. Your way seems a lot cheaper. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  10. Very creative, Carrie. They look good and easy to make. I used to go to Starbuck's a few times a week, and now I make it at home, and treat myself occasionally. I noticed your profile picture of your side bar. It looks like you are having a cup of coffee. Such a cute picture.

Wishing you wonderful February days ahead, Carrie.

  11. I don't go to SB's very often.. only when friends come from out of town who LOVE going there! I haven't seen the egg bites, but they do look good. Don't have an IP either, but I bought some little microwave egg cookers from the Dollar Store for $1.00 for 2.. so can make 6 eggs. I use them for poached eggs, but I can see where they'd work for the egg bites too! Thanks for the great idea! I love the Rice Krispie treats (gluten free) at Starbuck's so that's my treat to me when I do go! I don't drink coffee but love the Chai Latte's. xoxo Marilyn
