♥ A simple Apple Cake to tame your "sweet tooth" ♥
...and this hit the spot without being too sweet...
Mix together 1 c. plain flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt and set aside.
In bowl of mixer, whisk together 2 eggs and 1/2 c. sugar, then add 1/3 c canola oil and blend that in.
Add the dry ingredients just to mix. Add 1 c. thinly sliced apple (about one apple) and 1/2 c. walnuts.
Stir into the mix. Pour mixture into a greased square or round baking dish.
Bake at 350• for about 30-35 mins.
