ReplyDeleteWay to go!!! You did a FAB job!!!
ReplyDeleteBut... Where do you store all those new-to-you items, when you come home?
ReplyDeleteSpoken, as someone who never goes out thrift shopping. Really! I do exist. :-)

How fun! I avoid Goodwill except to donate because if I'm getting rid of stuff I need to avoid the temptation to bring more home! lol

Oh my, you sure find the deals Carrie. I really need to get over to Goodwill more often :-)
ReplyDeleteTell your Bible study group I said thank you for the prayers for Jordan. I had dinner with my brother and his wife tonight (he's been divorced from Jordan's mom for many years). He filled us in on some of the details. We know it is a miracle that he's alive.
Blessings,
Marcia
So fun bumping into you last week at the GW. Now that you're back in Sherwood, maybe we will see more of each other. Happy Junking!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lisa
new here and enjoying your blog - and new friends are a wonderful find and by the way I like the those glitter birds..wink..
ReplyDeletewhat great deals you found...I'm impressed...
ReplyDeleteWay to go girl!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a "haul" you made. Some of my favorite things...Cake plate, cobalt, milk glass and birds. That is a jackpot. We are down in Chino.
ReplyDeleteTalked hubby into stopping at a thrift shop and found nothing.
Great shopping, Carrie.
You really hit the jackpot! I never hit it that good ~ I seem to have better luck at garage sales, which are finally coming around. I love cake plates, especially vintage ones, and I have a few myself. I like to use them for lots of different things. They look nice with a vintage lacy doily placed on top and then a cloche with some decorations inside. Enjoy!

Good job... all of those treasures and a few cents to spare!
ReplyDeleteSo many great finds! The ducks, the cake stand, everythings you found is wonderful :) how fun for you!
ReplyDeleteWe've been living in a motorhome for a year and a half and have just picked up a place to renovate. It will be a while before we can move in... but I can't wait to get back to digging through the second-hand stores again now that we'll have room. You found some amazing stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've been searching for a cake pan like that, too! Great finds (even though I am a bit jealous...*laugh*).
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me at A Season for All Things. I'm your newest follower and look forward to reading more of your posts.
